Garnet is the birthstone for January and the color we are featuring in our 40% off bin. Garnets have been used by people for many years. Early Egytians used garnets as inlay in their jewelry. The word garnet is derived from the word granatum which means seed, and is named for its resemblance to a pomegranate seed. As you probably have guessed by now, garnets represent eternal friendship.
Most of us love garnets and what they represent, and some of us, like me, love the color. So if you like shades of red typically seen in garnets, come in and take a look at the sale bin!
